Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 June 2026

Welcome to the Ecosystem & Sea Wolf Solver (the "Service"), operated by the Ecosystem & Sea Wolf Solver (the "Provider", "we", "us"). The Service consists of pay-per-use software tools that assist candidates preparing for the McKinsey Solve assessment. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Who you are contracting with

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "the Customer") and the Provider. The Provider operates the Service from the United Kingdom and provides it to users worldwide. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and are legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. The Service

The Service provides browser-based software tools that assist with the Ecosystem and Sea Wolf components of the McKinsey Solve assessment. Each use of a solver tool is provided on a single-use, pay-per-use basis. A single purchase grants access to one solve of the selected tool (or both tools, where a bundle is purchased). There is no subscription, no recurring billing, and no ongoing obligation on either party beyond the single use purchased.

3. Payment and pricing

Prices for each solver are displayed on the Service at the point of purchase. All payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. You authorise the Provider to charge the displayed amount for the single solve purchased. Prices may change at any time without notice; the price applicable to your purchase is the one displayed at the point of payment.

Non-refundable digital product. Because the Service is software-as-a-service delivered and consumed instantly upon payment, all purchases are final and non-refundable. Please see section 4 for details.

4. Refunds and cancellation — non-refundable

The Service is a digital product provided as software-as-a-service. Upon successful payment, access to the relevant solver is delivered to you immediately and electronically. By purchasing, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

Where you have a statutory right that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales, nothing in these Terms restricts that right. Outside of such non-excludable rights, all purchases are final.

5. Your licence to use the Service

Subject to your payment of the applicable fee and your continued compliance with these Terms, the Provider grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the purchased solver for a single solve, for your own preparation purposes. You may not: (a) reproduce, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Service; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source of any algorithm or logic; (c) use the Service to provide a service to third parties; or (d) use the Service in any manner that is unlawful or that breaches these Terms.

6. Practice use only; not affiliated with McKinsey

The Service is an independent preparation aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to McKinsey & Company, Redrock Solutions, or any of their subsidiaries. The Service reproduces general selection logic relevant to the assessment style but does not contain, reproduce, or provide any actual McKinsey assessment content. The Service is provided for practice and educational purposes only. You are solely responsible for how you use the output produced.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider excludes all conditions, warranties, representations, and terms (whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise) in relation to the Service, including any warranty of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. The output of the Service depends entirely on the data you enter; the Provider does not warrant that any particular output will be correct, optimal, or fit for your assessment.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider shall not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for any loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of an assessment outcome, loss of a job offer, or loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service. The Provider's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to the Provider for the single solve giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including not to: attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service; interfere with or disrupt the Service; introduce any virus, malware, or harmful code; or attempt to circumvent the pay-per-use access control. We may suspend or terminate access immediately, without refund, where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

10. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update or modify the Service at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; the current version will always be available on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Subject to any non-excludable consumer rights, you and the Provider submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Contact

If you have any questions about these Terms, you may contact the Provider by email at customersupport@acethesolve.com.
