Privacy Statement

Last updated: 26 June 2026

This Privacy Statement explains, in broad terms, how the Ecosystem & Sea Wolf Solver (the "Provider", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the Service. We have written it to be easy to read rather than exhaustive. Where something is not covered here, we will handle it in line with applicable data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What we collect and why

We keep what we collect to the minimum needed to operate the Service. In general terms, this may include:

The data you enter into the solvers themselves (your producer tables, species matrices, and contamination profiles) is processed in your browser as part of delivering your single-use solve. You should not enter any personal data into the solver fields.

The data you enter into the solver tools is processed locally in your browser to produce your output. We do not build a profile of you from it.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate, maintain, and improve the Service; to process payments and grant access; to secure and monitor the Service; to respond to enquiries; and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We do not use the information you provide to make solely automated decisions about you.

3. Sharing

We share information where it is necessary to operate the Service. This includes our payment provider, which processes payments on our behalf, and our infrastructure and hosting providers, which host and serve the Service. We may also disclose information where required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Provider, our users, or others. We do not sell the information we hold.

4. Where information is held

The Service is operated from the United Kingdom, and information may be processed by us and by our providers in the United Kingdom and elsewhere. Where information is transferred outside the UK, we will put in place appropriate safeguards as required by UK data protection law.

5. How long we keep information

We keep information for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, taking into account any legal or regulatory requirements to retain it. Single-use access information is retained for as long as is needed to verify and support your purchase. Where we are not required to keep information, we will delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights in relation to the information we hold about you, which may include rights to access, correct, or delete that information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). To exercise any of these rights, or if you have a question about how we handle information, you may contact us by email at customersupport@acethesolve.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

7. Changes to this statement

We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
